Tails is the largest independent pet store in Toronto and is located in the heart of the Beach community in Toronto’s east end.  We opened our doors for business in 2007 and since then we have proudly stood behind our products and animals. 

We regularly participate in local school, charity and community events and our staff are comprised of animal lovers who share a deep and abiding concern for the welfare of animals. 

This concern translates into a dedication to our customers to make sure that all products purchased at Tails are high quality, safe, and appropriate for both the owner and the animal's needs.

We are a full-line pet store, offering food, accessories, clothes, toys, treats, cages, beds, tanks, supplies and a large selection of live animals for sale, including fish, reptiles, birds and small animals. 

With two floors of products and animals, Tails offers our customers a wide variety of quality brands and products to choose from.  Our small animal and bird room is separately contained with its own air ventilation system so you can view the animals through the large windows without getting up close and personal with any allergy inducing elements. 

Our fish and reptile room is also ventilated so that you can enjoy shopping for a new friend or two in a comfortable environment.
